Controversial South Africa Pastor says what his members drink was blood of Jesus and not Jik.

A controversial South African pastor, who gave his church members Jik bleach to drink during church service last week, has spoken out to shield his motion.

Pastor Ruffus Phala, of Ark Centre Ministry in Makgodu Village, Limpopo, South Africa informed Daily Sun, he said he can turn the Jik into the blood of Jesus. He stated what his members had been drinking wasn’t Jik but Jesus Christ’s blood.

He said:

Yes, it become Jik earlier than I made the statement. But after I declared it to be the blood of Jesus Christ it means it’s not Jik so it won’t harm anyone who consumes it.

He stated what he did became similar to what befell in the Bible, in which Jesus gave his servants’ wine to drink however had said to them "that is my blood". "They were ingesting the blood of Jesus" - Pastor who gave participants JIK bleach to drink defends his motion

Limpopo police spokesman Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe stated that they had not obtained any court cases. He advised the affected congregants to come back ahead and open a case so cops could look into.

Thoko Mkhwanazi-Xaluva, chairwoman  of the commission for the promotion and protection of the Rights of Cultural‚ spiritual and Linguistic groups, told  Daiyl Sun they condemned such acts in the strongest feasible phrases. She stated this was an act of humans looking for recognition, adding:

A true man of God will now not do such.

We’ll be meeting with the religious umbrellas on Thursday to have a verbal exchange about such acts. We want them to arise and say, ‘now not in our God’s call’.

The debatable prophet is the equal person who made headlines after he gave his congregation Dettol to drink.
