The IGP M.A Adamu has charged the Digital and Forensic Unit of Nigerian Police to investigate the authenticity of picture of three police officers displaying the 4+4 sign of President Buhari re-election.
The force also disclosed that the investigation will ascertain whether it's real or photo-shopped. The outcome of the investigation and appropriate actions will be made known to the public.

The statement was disclosed on the force twitter handler which was obtained by Zenzireporters.

President Buhari originated the 4+4 sign during his 2019 budget presentation at the National Assembly. The sign has become the campaign symbol of Mr. President and APC.
