CAF name Egypt as new host of 2019 African Nations Cup.

Egypt has been announced as the new host of the 2019 African Nations Cup Tournament by the Confederation of Africa Football  (CAF).



CAF President Ahmed made the announcement after officials voted for Egypt ahead of South Africa to become the new host in a meeting held in Dakar on Tuesday 8th January, 2019.

The initial host nation of the tournament, Cameroon were stripped of the hosting right last month due to slow pace of preparations for the event.
