President Buhari commissioned the newly completed Abuja Airport Terminal today 20th December, 2019. The newly airport terminal will serves as dual terminal for the airport and railway terminal.
In his words;
Our administration has a deliberate policy to close Nigeria’s significant infrastructural deficit. And so today I opened the new Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Terminal, the first Airport Terminal to be connected to a rail transport system in Nigeria, and in West Africa.

I‘m also happy to note the progress being made in our airports and sea-ports on the implementation of the Executive Order on the Ease of Doing Business. We have a duty to ensure that travellers in & out of Nigeria get the best, not just in terms of infrastructure, but also service.
