The musician and human rights activist, Charles Oputa, aka Charlyboy, remarried his American wife, Lady Diane Oputa after 40 years of marriage with three children.
The event which took place in Abuja on Saturday, as both couple re-exchange marital vows at the Chapel of Sisters of Jesus the Redeemed Catholic Church in Gwarimpa. The wedding was officiated by the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Dioceses, Bishop Mathew Kukah.
In attendance Archbishop of Abuja Catholic Diocese, Cardinal John Onaiyekan, close friends and family members including his aged mother. Charlyboy is currently 67years, with nine children from different women, and with 16 grandchildren.
