President Muhammadu Buhari and I believe unequivocally, that the resources of Nigeria must be used for Nigerians. It must be available to farmers, the traders, those who need jobs, the young, the old and everyone in between.
Vice President, Osinbajo who was in Kasuwan Tipa and Dutse modern markets in Jigawa State to monitor the ongoing disbursement of Trade Moni loans made this known on Twitter.
He tweeted;
In Jigawa today, I visited the Kasuwan Tipa and Dutse modern markets to monitor the ongoing disbursement of Trader Moni loans.
Trader Moni is one of the distinct loan products of GEEP that seeks to boost the informal sector by enumerating and empowering key players with loans.
The market women, road sellers, artisans and others make up the informal sector. While they remain largely invisible, their contributions to the economy is undebatable.
They are Nigerians and they have a right to the resources of Nigeria.
