The Liberian government says it is investigating the unexplained disappearance of two big shipments of Liberian dollar banknotes printed overseas and taken into the united states in November 2017 and August 2018.
The overall amount of two shipments of banknotes that have vanished is approximately $60 million. In step with media reviews, the bins of the cash virtually left the port of the capital, Monrovia, under escort in March.
