Portuguese striker, Cristiano Ronaldo left the pitch in tears as he obtained a red card following an off-the-ball conflict with an opponent all through Juventus and Valencia clash on Wednesday night.
The 33-yearr-old flicked his boot at Jeison Murillo as they clashed collectively inside the 29th minute and the defender fell to the ground. The Portugal forward then appeared to drag Murillo’s hair in an attempt to carry him off the floor and the Valencia players without delay protested to the fifth official behind the goal.
After Referee Felix Brych consulted along with his colleague, he gave Ronaldo a red card, leaving the footballer in tears as he made his way down the tunnel. The red card was Ronaldo's 11th red card of his pprofessional career and first in the Champions League.
