Drama As Another PDP House of Rep. Member Join APC.

There was a mild drama on the floor of the House of Representatives, on Thursday, as another member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Ehizowu Agbonnayinma,  joined the All Progressives Congress( APC).

In a letter addressed to the Speaker, Hon Yakubu Dogara, which was read at the plenary, Hon. Agbonnayinma said the PDP has shut its doors against him in the aftermath of the party’s leadership crisis.

Surprisingly, his defection elicited jubilation among both members of the APC and the opposition parties.

While members of the ruling party hugged Agbonnayinma, PDP lawmakers stood up in unison waving him farewell.

Hon. Agbonnayinma represents Egor/Ikpoba-okha Federal Constituency from Edo State.
