Senator representing Kogi West in the National Assembly, Dino Melaye, has expressed his displeasure over the federal government’s probe into the wealth of some Nigerians suspected to have enriched themselves through corruption.

The lawmaker, who is heavily criticised for his lavish lifestyle, took to Instagram to challenge his critics and anti-graft agencies.

In the video, Melaye asked his followers: “What is actually wrong with people?”

“Someone would make money and you say you want to investigate the source of his wealth.

“When he was poor, did you investigate the source of his poverty?”

The Senator recently accused Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, of financial recklessness stating that he has stolen the common patrimony of the State.
