One Miss Odinke Sylvester, a 200 level student of Community Health Extension Worker of College of Health Technology, Calabar, Friday, reportedly bathed one Mr Ethoti Uno of the Department of Community Health of the same tertiary institution with hot water of pepper and salt inflicting deep degree of wounds and exfoliation of the skin NegroidHaven can report. As the point of reporting, information has it that Odinke is in police custody at Akpet Central while Ethoti is receiving treatment at Cottage Hospital, Akpet Central.
'Actually the girl was always in habit of drinking palm wine with the Village boys where she went to do her practicals, then the guy being the students president tried to caution her to desist from that act as it is inimical to the profession, the girl got provoked and picked a fight with guy, tore his dress and as if that was not enough bath him with salt, pepper hot water combination...', the source continued.
'The girl in question has history of making trouble and fighting both men and women. She was even expelled from the hostel because she fought her course mate. So am not surprised that she has taken her violent deposition to d next level', it concluded.
Efforts to reach Ms Odinke has proven abortive as her known phone number is not connecting as at the time of this report.
Recall that sequel to the recent suspected murder of late Bilyaminu Bello Halliru by Maryam Santa his wife and the call by one some women particularly Nkechi Bianze asking wives to take up arms against their supposed or actually cheating husbands, the violence against men by women is in the increase.
Hmmm! We wish Uno quick recovery. It's quite unfortunate. The school authority should see to the discipline of Odinke to serve as deterrent.
