Mrs Farida M. Waziri, was the former boss of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), during the administration of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan from May 2008 till May 2012.

On Sunday she accused the former president of sacking her because she refused to back down from the probe of one of the masterminds of fuel subsidy scam, an allegation debunked by the former Nigerian President.

In a new twist, the letter she purportedly wrote to former President Olusegun Obasanjo asking him to prevail on Jonathan to extend her tenure has just been released.

In the above letter, she was allegedly pointing out the ways she had fought the enemies of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
