A MESSAGE TO THE YOUTHS OF DELTA STATE BY COMRADE COLLINS ENEKOROGHA, SSG NYCN DELTA STATE

Democracy/Democratic process gives room for diverse opinions from the populace at different times. No doubt, Democracy is beautiful.

When the need arises for a government in power to address issues squarely as expected and that is not done, agitations are bound to occure from different individuals or groups. In most cases, it is the Youth population that are used as frontiers of such agitations thereby leading to "VIOLENT" situations.

As a young man, I am one of those proponents of Youths addressing issues in the most civilized manner such as DIALOGUE as against the strategy of "VIOLENCE" whenever the need arises.

As leaders of TODAY and the FUTURE, we must learn from the case of "Apartheid South Africa" by leading ourselves to VICTORY like Late Nelson Mandela did.

Just as the L.G.A elections draw closer and we look forward to the 2019 general elections, I urge you not to be used by politicians cum political jobbers to perpetrate mayhem during and after the elections. I wish to encourage you to exert your youthful energy into contesting for elective positions instead of killing/destroying lives and properties to the benefit of others who do not mean well for our dear State.

As Youths, we have to put our energies into positive use via Peace/Capacity building.

Let's make conscious efforts towards making our individual/collective lives better and allow the developmental plans of His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, Executive Governor of Delta State to strive. It's paramount to state as a matter of fact, that we must contribute our own quota in ensuring that the right thing is done to promote visible and sustainable development.

DELTA STATE IS OUR HOME, WE MUST BUILD AND SUSTAIN IT TOGETHER.
