Senate President Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the house of representatives, reportedly left the presidential villa in Abuja in a state of anger on Thursday.
A source told TheCable that the duo had led some top members of the national assembly to a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari over the 2018 budget.
The source said trouble started after the security operatives at the villa insisted on screening the lawmakers.
After efforts to make the security guards see reason fell through, the nation’s number three and four citizens were said to have left in protest.
