Obiuwevbi, who has since defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC, had in an event at the Agbarha-Otor town hall, told his supporters and constituents from the area that owing to the poor level of representation at the Assembly, he had harkened to represent them at the state House of Assembly.
Ominimini said: “The people of the constituency appealed to me that going by the representation they are having at the state House of Assembly, I should come out and represent them in the business of law making. As an obedient servant, I have listened to their cries.
“When elected, I will ensure they benefit and feel the impact of governance as I have always believed in the emancipation of the people and it is based on this that the Chief Ominimini Foundation was set up solely to teach the people of the grassroots how to fish and fend for themselves rather than giving them fish.”
