The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, on
Tuesday described Senator Dino Melaye who is representing Kogi West at the
Upper Chamber of National Assembly, as a “clown.”
Mohammed made the remark while sharing some photographs of
the outspoken Senator at the Notting hill carnival in London.
The controversial lawmaker was yesterday pictured at the
Nigerian corner of the Nottinghill carnival in London where he was said to have
performed his hit track, Ajekun Iya.
Reacting to Melaye’s presence at the carnival, the Minister,
in a post on his twitter handle wrote: “Just look at this clown; Senator Dino
Melaye at the Notting Hill carnival in London, performing his favourite song,
“Ajekun Iya”.
