The Senator representing Delta
Central, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, has stated his opinion on Kanu and Biafra
people’s modus operandi in exhibiting their alleged maltreatment and unequally
representation to the world, saying that IPOB should have consulted Urhobo
people before encrypting them as part of their territory in Biafra map.
Speaking in an interview extracted on
facebook, Sen. Ovie stated that anyone who feels marginalised has the right to
agitate, so long the country is not a perfect one, everybody should strive to
correct those imperfections.
In his words “No one is saying that
the Igbo do not have the right to agitate for themselves, I respect their right
to self determination, I respect their right to agitate on behalf of there
people. But what we will not countenance is for them without consulting the
Urhobo people sow moto on their own including Urhobo people as part of their
map for the republic of Biafra.
We are never part of the republic of
Biafra, we are not now and we do not plan to be part of that, he clearly
stated” Watch and hear the rest of his opinion.
