The year is going quite well for Wizzy as he continues to
rake in international awards – last night, the sweet love singer beat 7 other
contenders, including west African hits, Davido, Mr. Eazi and Tekno, to win
this year’s BET Best International Act: Africa Awards at a pre-BET Awards show
in Los Angeles.
This new accolade follows just weeks after the star brought
home three Billboard Music Awards plaques for his collaborative song, One Dance
with Drake.
Shortly after he was announced the BET winner, the Nigerian
International Musician tweeted a hilarious yet narcissistic posts about how far
he has come and how he won’t stop loving himself.
Other contenders who in the same category have taken to
their platform to congratulate Wizkid, includes Mr. Eazi and Ghana’s Stonebwoy.
